Ballet Lessons

Ballet is the foundation of all good dancers. It is one of the most graceful forms of dance. Ballet also forms a very strong base for correct technique attaining strength, good posture, poise and elegance. All this helps our students to maintain maximum levels of fitness.

Tap Dance Lessons

We offer tap to the younger children as well as adults as a form of creativity and fun, where you begin to develop percussive sounds and rhythms. It keeps ankles loose and strengthens calves and is great for co-ordination. Or just to socialise and enjoy this fun hobby.

Performing Arts

A weekly class is available for the 5yrs + and 11yrs +. Acting and singing along with the world of mime is taught to these young hopefuls who automatically audition for their leading part in our drama productions.

Street Dance Lessons

Street dance is also commonly used specifically for the many hip hop dances and funk dance styles. An extremely popular subject, it is a most complex type of dance with a flavour of acrobatic moves and hectic rhythms all to the modern tunes and videos of today. We also run a weekly boys only class which has proven to be most popular.

Acrobatic Dance Lessons

Acrobatic dance is a form of dance that is a floor based discipline, without apparatus. This leads into tricks, which teaches your child the correct and safe way to approach those hand stands, rollovers and bridges, etc. Acrobat will help co-ordination, balance, strength, joint mobility and co-ordination in their everyday life.

Sur Le Pointes

These classes are mainly for our long term students that have obtained the required age standard and technique for “Ballet on the Toes”.

Musical Theatre Lessons

Our musical theatre lessons cover the basics of musical theatre (singing, dancing and acting simultaneously). Students will learn warm-ups and exercises to improve basic technique too.

Jazz Lessons

Jazz is a unique type of dance derived from modern stage using the technique already learnt from ballet. All of our Jazz classes commence with a warm up followed with high kick work, travelling steps, spins and leaps all which help towards “Learn The Routine” and to finish, a good long stretch. A most rewarding class giving you a sense of achievement and good feeling.
